Sea The Stars To Enjoy His Retirement in Ireland
27.10.2009
All conquering champion Sea The Stars will stand at stud at the Aga Khan's Gilltown Stud in Ireland.
The unbeaten wonder-horse proved a wonderful conduit for the horse racing tips and will now stand at a fee of 85,000 Euros in his first season during which he will hope to cover a book of approximately 120 mares.
Amongst those already lined up for the first book of mares is Zarkava, the Aga Khan's winner of the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe, and much has been made of the potential of pairing two unbeaten champions.
We wish him a very happy retirement.
In other news, Ryan Moore will be crowned Champion Flat Jockey at Newmarket on Friday. The imperious rider collects his third title in four years and has been a great servant to followers of racing tips across a number of seasons. A superb champion - we salute him.
Horse racing meetings are taking place today at Catterick, Southwell and Yarmouth.
