With the jumps season in full swing there is plenty of interesting information that will certainly help with the search for quality racing tips.
We start with news on the Clonmel Oil Chase at Clonmel on Wednesday. Last year's winner, Glenfinn Captain looks to retain his title against five rivals after the race was given the go-ahead after an inspection this morning. Gungadu is making his debut for trainer Gordon Elliott, whilst Noel Meade and Charlie Swan have Watson Lake and One Cool Cookie representing them respectively. Conna Castle and The Fonz make up the field.
In other news, many punters will be disappointed to hear that Air Force One has been ruled out of the Hennessy Gold Cup after picking up an injury to his rear quarters. The Charlie Mann-trained runner was as short as 12/1 for the race and now any horse racing tips will have to consider his chances at the Punchestown Festival, which is the ultimate target for the new year.
Meanhwile, this Saturday sees the renewal of the Betfair Chase at Haydock and Notre Pere has been installed a s second favourite behind Kauto Star to claim the victory following postive comments from trainer Jim Draper. As the Welsh Grand National winner also holds an entry for the Hennessy a week later, the others in the race such as Imperial Commander, Madison Du Berlais and Tidal Bay should be taken very seriously.
Horse racing meetings are taking place today at Fakenham, Folkestone and Southwell.
